The Role
We are seeking a Data Loss Prevention Security Engineer with intermediate to advanced experience in Zscaler DLP CASB and DSPM to help design implement and maintain data protection controls across our On-Prem Cloud and SaaS environments. This role will play a key part in protecting sensitive data improving visibility and reducing risk while enabling business productivity.

The Role
We are seeking a Data Loss Prevention Security Engineer with intermediate to advanced experience in Zscaler DLP CASB and DSPM to help design implement and maintain data protection controls across our On-Prem Cloud and SaaS environments. This role will play a key part in protecting sensitive data improving visibility and reducing risk while enabling business productivity.
Your responsibilities:
- Design configure and maintain Zscaler DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies for data at rest and in motion for Web Email and Endpoint Environments.
- Implement and manage CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) controls for SaaS applications including data visibility policy enforcement and shadow IT monitoring
- Support DSPM (Data Security Posture Module) initiatives including data discovery classification and risk prioritization across all platforms and environments
- Tune and optimize policies to reduce false positives and align with business requirements
- Collaborate with security cloud and application teams to integrate data protection into cloud architecture
- Assist with incident response investigations and remediation related to data loss or policy violations
- Document configurations standards and operational procedures
- Stay current on cloud security trends Zscaler enhancements and data protection best practices
Essential skills/knowledge/experience
- Intermediate to advanced hands-on experience with Zscaler DLP and CASB
- Practical experience with DSPM tools or programs including data discovery and classification
- Strong understanding of cloud security concepts (SaaS IaaS data flows identity)
- Experience working with sensitive data types (PII PHI PCI intellectual property)
- Ability to translate security requirements into effective scalable controls
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
- Familiarity with data classification frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Experience integrating Zscaler with IAM (Entra PING) SIEM (Splunk) or SOAR tools
- Security certifications (e.g. Zscaler CCSP CISSP)
