Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in SQL and Snowflake to design and deliver scalable high performance BI and analytics solutions. This role requires ownership of end to end reporting architecture close collaboration with business stakeholders and mentoring of junior BI resources.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of enterprise grade Power BI dashboards and reports.
Architect and maintain semantic data models using Snowflake as the enterprise data warehouse.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries views and transformations.
Develop advanced DAX measures calculations and KPIs for analytical use cases.
Partner with business stakeholders to define reporting standards and metrics.
Ensure data accuracy governance and security including Row Level Security (RLS).
Optimize Power BI datasets refresh strategies and report performance.
Review and guide BI development standards and best practices.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
Support production issues and continuous enhancement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8 10 years of experience in BI / Data Analytics roles.
Expert level Power BI experience (DAX Power Query Power BI Service).
Strong SQL expertise with performance tuning.
Hands on Snowflake experience (schemas views transformations cost optimization).
Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
Experience working with large enterprise datasets.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills
Power BI deployment pipelines and workspace governance.
Azure ecosystem exposure (ADF Synapse Azure SQL).
Python or scripting for data analysis/automation.
Experience in banking healthcare insurance or telecom domains.
Prior experience in BI lead or senior IC roles.
