About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Mainframe Network Engineer to support a large enterprise IBM Z environment that powers critical government services.

This role focuses on maintaining system stability supporting upgrades and troubleshooting network-related issues within a mainframe environment. If you have strong experience working with z/OS or enterprise mainframe systems we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain mainframe network infrastructure
Assist with IBM Z hardware installations and configurations
Support disaster recovery and backup environments
Participate in system upgrades and migration activities
Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
Support hardware and software refresh initiatives
Document technical procedures
Participate in on-call rotation when required

Required Experience

Experience working in a mainframe (IBM Z / z/OS) environment
Experience with mainframe networking (TCP/IP VTAM or similar tools)
Experience supporting production systems
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in an enterprise environment

Preferred Skills

Experience with NetView TN3270 AT-TLS or related tools
Experience with disaster recovery environments
Experience in large enterprise or public sector environments
