SAP BW Lead

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW Lead with deep expertise in SAP BW/BW on HANA and strong leadership capabilities to drive end-to-end solution delivery. The ideal candidate will lead the BW team manage architecture and solution design ensure data quality and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable high-performance data solutions.

• Lead the design development and implementation of SAP BW/BW on HANA solutions.

• Architect data models ETL flows and data extraction transformation and loading processes.

• Perform performance tuning of BW objects queries and data loads.

• Review technical design documents code and configurations produced by the team.

• Lead and mentor a team of SAP BW developers ensuring high-quality deliverables.

• Allocate tasks monitor progress and provide technical guidance.

• Conduct daily stand-ups sprint reviews and ensure timely project delivery.

• Collaborate with offshore teams using overlap hours for seamless coordination.

• Engage with business users to gather reporting and analytics requirements.

• Translate business needs into scalable and efficient BW solutions.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including SAP Functional BASIS Security and Data teams.

• Manage communications risk escalations and status reporting.

• Lead BW enhancements data migrations and new implementations.

• Support UAT production cutover and go-live activities.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and change management processes.

• Drive continuous improvement across BW landscapes.

• 8 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW/BW on HANA.

• Strong expertise in:

  • InfoObjects ADSOs CompositeProviders

  • ETL processes and DataSource extraction (ECC/S/4HANA APIs Flat Files CDS Views)

  • BW Queries Analysis for Office BEx tools

  • HANA Modeling (Attribute Views Calculation Views)

• Experience leading onshore/offshore teams.

• Strong understanding of SDLC Agile and DevOps methodologies.

• Excellent communication leadership and client-facing skills.

• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA.

• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Exposure to S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.

• Experience integrating with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
