Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Entry Driver in Lompoc CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors vendors and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Perform access control duties by verifying identification managing visitor registration issuing and/or collecting badges and directing authorized personnel to the appropriate areas.
- Monitor entry and exit points and report irregular activity policy violations and/or suspicious behavior in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations including alarm activations and access control issues by following post orders and notifying the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office production and/or campus areas and the perimeter documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
