IS/IT Project Manager North of Lewisville TX 4 days a week on site
Job Summary - Serve as the primary project manager for the CMMC IS/IT certification project leading and coordinating activities between IS Security and IT teams.
- Develop maintain and update comprehensive project plans ensuring alignment with CMMC requirements and best practices.
- Manage project timelines monitor progress track actions and ensure timely completion of tasks across multiple workstreams.
- Facilitate effective collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams in North America Europe and other regions.
- Centralize and maintain project documentation including procedures and compliance evidence to support audits and avoid information silos.
- Identify assess and address project risks issues and blockers proactively resolving challenges to keep the project on track.
- Initiate and organize workshops or working sessions as needed to advance project objectives.
- Report regularly on project status milestones risks and achievements to senior stakeholders and Steering Committee preparing concise visual reports and dashboards.
- Prepare and present materials for the Steering Committee focusing on IS and IT project sections.
- Maintain proactive communication and collaboration with the Business CMMC Project Manager.
- Develop business cases and impact analyses for scenarios such as tool selection cloud vs. on-premise solutions and resource planning.
- Track and report on financial status highlighting variances and proposing corrective actions.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to CMMC standards and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and support any audits or assessments related to cybersecurity including NIST SP 800-171 or DIBCAC assessments.
- Requires regular travel to Europe (5-6 times per year) based on project needs.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a multicultural geographically distributed team.
- Requires a bachelors degree in cybersecurity computer science IT engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience preferably in cybersecurity or IT environments; experience with CMMC certification highly valued.
- Strong organizational leadership analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure enterprise applications information security management systems compliance standards (e.g. NIST SP 800-171/53) and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Project MS Teams SharePoint) with intermediate skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- PMP PRINCE2 or similar project management certifications are a plus.
- High level of integrity confidentiality professionalism adaptability and resilience.
