Job Summary
Job Summary for Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital Med/Surg Tele RN:
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
- Work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts (7pm-7:30am/7am-7:30pm); variable shifts possible to meet operational needs.
- Must have at least 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty.
- Must also have at least 18 months of recent (within last few years) Med/Surg Telemetry experience; travel experience accepted.
- Recent (within 1 year) oncology/chemotherapy administration experience preferred but oncology nurses without chemo experience are encouraged to apply (training will be provided).
- Must hold a permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State RN license at time of application.
- Must hold current AHA or American Red Cross BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications.
- Required to work at least every other holiday.
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
- Responsible for accurate timekeeping/submission of hours worked via Qualivis Lotus system.
- Commitment to delivering safe high-quality patient care and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
