Senior Java Developer

Austin TX Hybrid Only Locals

Position is ONSITE/Hybrid at the location listed above (with some hybrid work determined by the hiring manager). The program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.

The program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY.

Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

Job Description

Develops software solutions by studying information needs conferring with users and studying systems flow data usage and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications standards and programming.

Additional job details and special considerations

These contractor roles are for Senior Java Developers and the positions will work on the SCOR BAU EI parallel initiative. These roles will be responsible for making updates to the SCOR Java. Updates include changes to business logic updates to the user interface and business logic as well as extending reporting capabilities and the system data model. Support application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Support applications in multiple environments with coding testing peer reviews documentation defect root cause analysis and troubleshooting as required. Maintaining code coverage testing and security policies and procedures is required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.
