Job Summary
Private Family in Miami FL Seeking a Housekeeper
Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper (with some childcare support)
Schedule: Schedule to be determined; flexibility required including occasional evenings and one weekend day
Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience (Around $35 to $40 per hour DOE)
Start Date: Flexible
Relocation: No local candidates preferred
About the Family
An international family primarily based in Miami Florida is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Housekeeper to support the daily operations of their home. This role will focus primarily on maintaining a clean organized household while also providing occasional assistance with the familys school-aged children.
The family maintains high standards and values professionalism discretion flexibility and a strong work ethic. They are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys helping maintain a well-run household environment.
Children: Two children ages 6 and 10
Home Size: Large private residence
Pets: One mid-sized dog
Household Staff: Domestic couple also employed; teamwork and collaboration are important
Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Household Care
- Detailed daily cleaning and general upkeep of the home
- Deep cleaning on a rotating schedule
- Laundry ironing and wardrobe care
- Changing bed linens and maintaining organization of closets and storage areas
Cooking & Kitchen Support
- Assisting with light meal preparation and simple family-style cooking
- Maintaining organization and provisioning of the kitchen and pantry
Childcare Support
- Assisting with care of two school-aged children
- Supporting childrens routines supervision and activities as needed
- Helping during busy afternoons evenings and occasional weekends
Household Support
- Running occasional errands
- Maintaining organization throughout the home
- Communicating proactively with principals and other household staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements
- Prior experience working in a private household as a housekeeper
- Strong cleaning laundry and organizational skills
- Comfortable preparing simple healthy family meals
- Experience assisting with childcare
- Flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Comfortable with pets (one mid-sized dog)
- Proficient swimming skills
- Excellent references
- Legal to work in the United States
