Job Summary
Private Family in Armonk NY Seeking a Nanny / Housekeeper
Position: Part-Time Live-Out Nanny / Housekeeper
Schedule:
- Monday & Tuesday: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM ( flexible on this schedule)
- Wednesday Thursday & Friday: 12:30 PM 8:30 PM ( flexible on this schedule as well)
- Occasional weekends (with notice)
Family is flexible overall but Monday and Tuesday mornings are preferred.
Can provide more hours
Pay: $35$40 per hour
Start Date: Flexible / ASAP
Relocation: No local candidates preferred
About the Family
A warm and welcoming private family in Armonk NY is seeking a reliable experienced Nanny / Housekeeper to support their household. They value professionalism flexibility and someone who will be a long-term fit.
Children: Two children ages 5 and 7
Home Size: Approximately 7000 sq. ft.
Pets: 6 Chihuahuas and 1 Black Lab (dogs have their own rooms; no walking required)
Groceries: Delivered
Responsibilities
Housekeeping
- Deep cleaning and maintaining a large home
- Laundry and organization
- General household upkeep
- Evening meal prep
Childcare (on evenings when children are home)
- School pickup (car provided)
- Light childcare support and supervision
Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal candidate is proactive organized and dependable with experience working in private homes. They are comfortable managing both housekeeping and childcare responsibilities dog-friendly and flexible with scheduling. This family is seeking someone calm trustworthy and committed to a long-term role.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar nanny/housekeeper role
- Excellent references
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Comfortable with multiple dogs
- Legal to work in the United States
