Pediatrix is seeking a full-time BC/BE Neonatologist to join our established practice at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City providing coverage for two NICUs and offering a supportive community-oriented work environment backed by a robust hospital system.
Job Description:
- Provide Coverage at 2 Level III NICUs:
- Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City: 43-bed NICU with an ADC of 29
- Norman Regional Hospital: 26-bed NICU with an ADC of 14
- Services Available: HFOV jet ventilators robust sub-specialty and MFM support
- Work Environment: Collegial private practice with a team of 6 neonatologists
- Workload: Approximately 10 shifts per month with 24-hour shifts (taken out-of-house)
- Support: 24/7 NNP support and full back-up from the hospital team
- New Graduates Welcome: Encouraging new fellows to apply

- This is a permanent full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

Compensation and Benefits:

- TRULY Board Eligible (within a year of eligibility) / Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - REQUIRED
- Oklahoma State License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice/license history - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - REQUIRED * no exemption required at presentation
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - (note in Additional Submission Details field) - REQUIRED * no exemptions
- Permanent Placement Fee $25K (note in Additional Submission Details field) - REQUIRED
- Visa Support: Does provider require J1 or H1B support (note in Additional Submission Details field)- REQUIRED
