Job Summary
- Prepares and assist in the set up of operating room for the scheduled procedure.
- Verify accurate and complete preparation of supplies instruments equipment and special order implants/instruments pre-operatively.
- Opens and dispenses sterile items safely and accurately.
- Assess special needs related to patient history surgical procedure positioning needs and length of planned surgical procedure.
- Counts sponges sharps and instruments with scrub person.
- Accurate charge capture for items utilized in the Operating Room for patient-specific charges.
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
Holiday Call-Back and OT Multipliers - 1.25%

Requirement description :
- 2 years current OR experience - Required
- Scrub & Circulating experience - A scrub and circulate skills checklist Must be included in traveler profile Required
- Ortho/Neuro experience Required
- EPIC EMR experience Required
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
- Perm address must be included in profile
- Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer
