Job Summary
Job Summary (Systems Engineer - Storage and Backup):
- Design implement manage and maintain storage solutions for enterprise environments.
- Provide Level 3 support for Storage and Backup systems.
- Administer and engineer support across multiple operating systems (AIX Linux Windows VMware) in a multi-vendor environment.
- Work closely with architecture application development database server and networking teams.
- Participate in developing defining and simplifying IT processes to improve services.
- Collaborate with Business/Application Development and Engineering teams during project analysis and design phases.
- Support Operations team during implementation and post go-live phases for new initiatives or upgrades.
- Manage and maintain large-scale Storage Area Network systems (NetApp EMC HPE IBM Cisco Rubrik Brocade).
- Provide expertise in NetApp Grid and related storage technologies.
- Ensure high availability performance and reliability of storage and backup infrastructure.
- Participate in continuous improvement of storage and backup services.
