Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Position Purpose: Backfill for team members who have moved to other roles; support project work in merchandising.
- Project Focus:
- Automate preliminary merchandising tasks.
- Assist with assortment ingestion into space planning tool.
- Duration:
- Initial contract through end of fiscal year (6 months).
- Potential for extension; no opportunity for conversion to full-time currently.
- Location Requirements:
- Strongly prefer local candidates able to work onsite 4 days/week.
- Will consider remote candidates if able to work 8:00 AM 4:30 PM CST.
- Candidates must list location and onsite availability at the top of their resume.
- Experience Required:
- 5 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Able to work independently troubleshoot and research best methods.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Java (front-end and back-end development).
- Debugging expertise.
- Experience is a plus.
- Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Blue Yonder Space Planning/Category Management.
- Familiarity with rules engines AI or machine learning.
- Interview Process:
- Initial technical coding round in Java.
- Second round focused on behavioral questions if technical round is passed.
- Other Notes:
- Background check and drug screen are not required.
