Job Summary (Senior DevOps / Software Release Engineer AZASRS Phoenix AZ)
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build test and deployment processes.
- Lead software release activities from code commits through artifact deployment in UAT and production environments.
- Configure and manage automated deployment strategies across development UAT and production.
- Set up and maintain application health monitoring alerting and logging systems; analyze logs and metrics to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with application development infrastructure and QA teams to ensure secure stable and efficient systems.
- Participate in technical envisioning design sessions and project delivery efforts while promoting DevOps best practices and continuous improvement.
- Produce release status reports and communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders.
- Work with source code management systems (Bitbucket GitHub) and troubleshoot complex issues in a proactive solution-oriented manner.
- Utilize and administer tools such as Maven Gradle Jenkins GitHub Actions Jira and Confluence.
- Develop scripts using PowerShell Bash Javascript or Python; knowledge of Java or similar languages.
- Operate in Agile/Scrum environments and manage multiple priorities and projects efficiently.
- Preferred: Experience with Spring Framework Spring Boot Docker Kubernetes or similar container-based architectures.
- Role is primarily remote (80%) with occasional in-office meetings; must be Arizona resident and eligible to work without sponsorship.
- Contract-to-hire opportunity with eligibility for full-time employment after six months pending successful evaluation.
