Job Summary
Job Summary (Configuration & Deployment Tech ADOT ITG):
- 100% onsite role supporting ADOTs IT Hardware Lifecycle management.
- Responsible for administrative tasks related to IT procurement lifecycle management and inventory management.
- Perform daily pick or stock of IT hardware in/out of secure inventory room.
- Conduct weekly and monthly physical inventory processes.
- Maintain and follow processes policies standards systems and measurements for effective IT asset management.
- Assist in obtaining IT hardware quotes and receiving equipment from vendors.
- Configure and deploy IT hardware to internal and external customers in the Phoenix area.
- Process end-of-life equipment for disposal according to established standards and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with cost control risk governance and business performance objectives.
- Support IT asset management using tools like ServiceNow HAM and discovery tools.
- Utilize Microsoft and Google productivity tools for reporting and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and configure computer hardware and network issues; knowledge of Ethernet network terminology required.
- Provide in-person face-to-face customer service.
- Gather requirements and facilitate hardware purchases with vendors and customers.
- Ensure adherence to procurement rules regulations and financial management standards.
- Use Windows 10/11 Active Directory and MS System Center Configuration Manager for device management.
- Work closely with ITG policies procedures and best practices for IT infrastructure.
- Requires at least 7 years of relevant IT experience; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Must have a valid AZ drivers license with a good driving record.
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills required.
- Local candidates only; must be available for in-person interview and to start within two weeks of offer.
