- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography CT and fluoroscopy.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric age.
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations.
- Maintain accurate records files and billing information.
- Ensure integrity and confidentiality of patient medical images and data according to HIPAA and other regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment.
- Manage supply inventory for imaging procedures.
- Complete other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Work Schedule: Mid Shift Monday to Thursday 11am to 9:30pm (4 x 10-hour shifts).
- Required to perform both X-ray and CT scanning; no on-call duties.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)(CT) or (R).
- State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required (CA).
- Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI preferred in CA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA and OR.
- Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR.
- Adherence to organizational vaccination requirements and participation in E-Verify.
