Job Title: RN- Labor and Delivery

Job Description:

Assess monitor and document maternal and fetal health during labor.
Administer medications IV fluids and anesthesia as prescribed.
Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery procedures.
Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and uterine contractions.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
Prepare patients for cesarean sections and assist in surgical procedures when required.
Provide immediate newborn care including APGAR scoring and stabilization.
Monitor mother and newborn during the postpartum recovery period.
Recognize and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
