Job Summary

Role: Android Mobile Developer

Location: Jackson MS 39211 Remote

Duration: 4 months

Required Skills:

Acquire knowledge of programming procedures and standards. Design code and test application software as well as modify existing software to reflect changes in functional requirements. Code efficiently while adhering to established programming standards. Prepare and maintain quality documentation to manage program development and revisions. Prepare instructions and user documentation for users / operators. Modify programs to increase operating efficiency. Prepare test data and validate software for accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Software Engineering or related area.

Software development with a focus on Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Java Kotlin for Android development and Android SDK
REST Graph-QL JSON
Unit tests and Bug Fixing
Understanding of OOP
Knowledge of architecture patterns: MVC MVP etc

Testing tools: Espresso Postman
Ability to work accurately with a legacy code
Ability to organize and delegate work to the team

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Software Engineering or related area from an accredited institution and one year of experience dealing with designing developing testing and deploying production grade applications familiarity with Android frameworks familiarity with multiple package managers such as Cocoa Pods Carthage and Swift Package Manager. Successful candidates will have a good attention to detail a desire to build good products for users and a willingness to learn new technologies.
