Were hiring for a Licensed MI/CD Psychotherapist for our Adolescent Residential Program for a full-time position in Maplewood MN.
A Licensed MI/CD Psychotherapist is responsible for determining clinical interventions facilitating assessments conducting individual/family/group therapy and providing education for patients specifically for those with substance use/misuse concerns. Manages each case and facilitates treatment planning and patient transition/discharge. Collaborates with a team of professionals to administer quality compassionate care.
A Licensed MI/CD Psychotherapist should individualize treatment and discharge plans based on patient needs cultural considerations clinical diagnoses and level of functioning. Documents client information accurately and thoroughly. Communicates effectively with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
Licensed MI/CD Psychotherapist Education and Experience Requirements:- Masters degree in psychology social work nursing or closely related field
- 1 year of supervised experience in mental health and chemical dependency including comprehensive assessment individual group and family therapy.
- 2 or more years of experience in mental health and chemical dependency preferred
- Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)
- Eligibility for independent clinical licensure required
- Licensure in one of the following preferred:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT)
- Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW)
