Job Title: Data Analyst (OIMS)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Location: On-site Gregory TX
About the Role
Our client a global organization in the energy and industrial sector is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support operational integrity systems and data management initiatives. This role will act as a key resource responsible for maintaining operational systems managing risk assessment data supporting change management processes and assisting with incident reporting platforms.
The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy system accessibility and compliance with operational procedures while supporting safety and integrity programs.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Assessment Support
- Provide support for risk assessment tools and systems acting as a power user.
- Assist with preparation activities such as gathering incident data and reports.
- Enter track and manage action items related to risk and safety assessments.
Management of Change (MOC) System Support
- Provide coordination and administrative support for the Management of Change process.
- Ensure proper documentation and system updates within the change management platform.
Incident Tracking System Support
- Serve as the site administrator for the incident reporting system.
- Manage user access role assignments and system functionality.
- Provide system training and support to internal users.
- Enter and manage action items associated with incidents and investigations.
Operational Systems Coordination
- Provide general support for operational integrity management systems.
- Maintain system data accuracy and assist with reporting and tracking activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Candidates with relevant education and limited professional experience will be considered.
Required Skills & Experience
Soft Skills
- Highly self-motivated with strong initiative to improve processes and maintain organized systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to hold stakeholders accountable to agreed processes and deliverables.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate business processes into data requirements and vice versa.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment.
Technical Skills
- Ability to learn and navigate operational management systems and approval hierarchies.
- Experience with data handling tracking and data entry.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with databases (e.g. Access or similar tools).
- Ability to generate and analyze reports.
- SAP experience is a plus.
