Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. This includes circulating scrubbing administering conscious sedation managing pulmonary artery lines performing telemetry and triage. The role requires a strong understanding of patient diagnoses such as STEMI stroke and trauma as well as experience with equipment like balloon pumps Impella and rapid infusion systems.

Location:Santa Barbara California United States
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and scrub during procedures in the Cath Lab.
- Administer conscious sedation to patients.
- Manage pulmonary artery lines.
- Perform telemetry monitoring.
- Triage patients effectively.
- Provide care for patients with diagnoses such as STEMI stroke and trauma.
- Document patient care in EPIC.
- Respond to on-call duties including weeknight and weekend shifts.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience.
- Trauma Level I experience.
- ACLS BLS and NIH certifications.
- Experience with Balloon Pump Impella and Rapid Infusion systems.
- Circulate Conscious Sedation Pulmonary Artery Lines Scrub Telemetry Triage and Vents skills.
- COVID Vaccination
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience.
- Trauma Level I experience.
- ACLS BLS and NIH certifications.
- Experience with Balloon Pump Impella and Rapid Infusion systems.
- Circulate Conscious Sedation Pulmonary Artery Lines Scrub Telemetry Triage and Vents skills.

Special Considerations:
- High cost of living area.
- On-call requirements: 12 call shifts per six-week schedule including weekend call every third weekend.
- Must include all requested time off (RTO) on initial submittal for the entire contract length.
