Job Summary

Job Summary:

The primary duties of a Machine operator are to operate all machinery in a safe and efficient manner. Perform quality checks and produce accurate parts. Operate the machines using correct materials to produce various shapes and sizes to ensure tolerances specified on the prints or drawings are correct. On the first article and throughout the process checking the parts you are producing for accuracy.

Shift: Days and Nights Available!

Essential Functions:

Reading blueprints and drawings.
Setting up the machine.
Measuring parts for accuracy and consistency.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Retrieve material load material on machines setup machine to each jobs specifications.
This includes pulling plates off machines from ten (10) pounds to two hundred (200) pounds depending on material.
Cleaning and de-slagging parts.
Maintain a clean work environment.
General yard clean up.
All other tasks as assigned.
