Work Type: Onsite

Shift: 8AM-5PM (Monday-Friday)

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform in an organized and timely manner
Perform Cell Culture of Primary Cells and complete various Cell-Based Assays independently
Perform high-throughput sample testing in an organized and timely manner
Maintain excellent aseptic technique and ensure sterility/quality of cell culture and assay outcomes
Work safely within BSL-2 laboratory environment
Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks prepare precise technical report summaries any necessary analysis and maintain appropriate documentation
Basic Laboratory management multitasking and experimental troubleshooting

Minimum Background and Experience:

Educational background: Master of Science degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline with emphasis in molecular and cell biology immunology or related disciplines with three to five years of hands-on experience or PhD with zero to 2 years of Postdoc experience
Training and experience with Cell Culture (Primary Cells isolation Mammalian Cell Culture flow cytometry RNAi etc) is a must-have
Working knowledge of and/or skills in the cell biology field (pipetting aseptic technique preparing media cell-based assay work etc)
Excellent attention to detail
Comfort working within a fast-paced lab environment
Ability to perform basic dilution and stoichiometric calculations
Ability to work independently with ambiguity and as part of a team self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
Attention to detail and good oral and written communication skills required
