Job Summary
Job Summary (Back End Web Developer / Engineer)
- Focus on backend development for a web application merging existing Java and Angular applications.
- Ensure backend services robustly support the new user interface and foundational capabilities.
- Develop and maintain web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Work with backend systems that utilize Oracle databases.
- Apply best practices in web development leveraging open-source programming languages and frameworks.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Collaborate within a hybrid work environment in Sacramento CA.
- Required to have either:
- A Bachelors degree in IT or engineering or
- 8 years of related professional experience.
- Must have:
- 4 years of backend web application experience.
- 4 years of Java/Spring Boot development experience.
- 2 years of experience with applications using Oracle databases.
- Preferred (Desirable) qualifications include:
- Masters or Doctorate in IT or engineering or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of advanced degree.
- 5 years of backend web application experience.
- 5 years of Java/Spring Boot development experience.
- 3 years of experience with Oracle database-backed applications.
