Basic Qualifications
Education Licenses Cert Requirements: Associates of Science or Bachelors of Science in Biology Chemistry or related fields
Required Experience: 1-2 years in a laboratory environment ability to lift 40 lbs
Required Skills (include soft skills): Strong communicator detail oriented positive mindset self-starter reliable and needs to be a team player. The individual needs to be ok with ambiguity and cannot be resistant to change.
Good to have skills: LIMS experience experience in Microsoft Office
Deal breakers: Inability to work during the prescribed time frame
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education: Bachelors
Preferred Experience: Aseptic technique cross-contamination knowledge
Preferred Skills:
Practical and theoretical knowledge of ISO 17025
Knowledge of cross-contamination management/mitigation in laboratories
Knowledge of aseptic technique
Experience and skill in using computers filling out spreadsheets (Excel) Word ELN and laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
Practical laboratory skills and ability to troubleshoot/maintain complex laboratory instrumentation
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of biological risk control plans laboratory safety chemical management
