Job Summary

Job Title: Material Handler III Location: Sparks Glencoe MD 21152 Duration: 12 Months Shift: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM (2nd Shift) Pay Rate: $24.18/hour $0.45 shift differential Job Summary

The Material Handler 3 performs moderately complex material handling assignments requiring judgment attention to detail and the ability to recognize deviations from standard practices. This role involves receiving storing moving packaging and releasing materials while maintaining accurate documentation and inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

Locate store package and move materials using proper handling methods.
Operate hand and/or electric trucks including forklifts turret trucks order pickers and other licensed motorized equipment.
Maintain accurate written and computerized logs.
Support receiving distribution and packaging operations.
Prepare goods for domestic shipment.
Conduct cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Assist with sampling inspection procedures and quality monitoring in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Train and implement functions in SAP as needed.
Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet department goals.
Coordinate or execute special projects as assigned.
Work independently with general supervision on routine tasks.

Required Skills

Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills.
Ability to safely operate material handling and packaging equipment.
Experience using UPS systems and computer systems.
Strong attention to detail in moderately routine processes.
Ability to lift/move:
- 5 25 lbs continuously
- 25 60 lbs frequently
Forklift license required OR ability to obtain within one month of hire.
Basic PC skills and familiarity with Windows environment.
Ability to work independently.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1 years of experience required.
2 years of experience preferred.
