Title: ECBVIC-Production/Inventory Coordinator C - E29-Production Coordinator
Location: New Orleans LA
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Rate: $34 Hourly
Shift: Second Start Time: 2:00 PM and End Time: 10:30 PM
Job Description:
- QTY 4 - 2nd shift
- Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities flight test etc. Monitors and analyzes work in process. Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems. Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability. Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under limited supervision.
Experience Requirements:
- Warehouse experience
- Experience and comfortable using a computer
- Crane or forklift certifications/experience
- Material handling
- Experience working inventory
- Duration of assignment : 12 months

- Work Schedule (i.e. FT PT On-Call): 2nd shift
- Shift Start Time: 2 pm
- Shift End Time: 10:30 pm

- Are there any physical requirements for this role : Yes - standing moving around warehouse comfortable standing and climbing ladders (10ft) the ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Any OT / DOT expected : available
- Does this position require a U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance: Yes
- What Kind of Security Clearance if needed : Not needed
- Is Clearance Required to Start N/A
- Safety Sensitive (DOD EFO FAA FMCSA NASA Not Required): NASA - candidate will be required to complete the NASA background check and badging post start. Will be coordinated by post start

- Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on: system pulling work orders and delivering work orders to work areas. Lift work orders and materials in cranes/forklift. Forklift to move things around the floor to different shipping and receiving areas.

Education / Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate2 years related work Bachelor etc.).
