Psychotherapist Job PT (Evening/Night Shift 7p 3:30 a) University of Minnesota Medical Center Roseville Minnesota

We are hiring for a Psychotherapist for our Clinical Triage & Transition team at MHealth Fairview for a part-time position in the University of Minnesota Medical Center West Bank Campus.

The Psychotherapist will provide a variety of behavioral health services such as a comprehensive behavioral assessment diagnosis treatment plan crisis intervention and continued psychotherapy to youth and adult patients Provides coordinated care by consulting with internal and external providers involved in patient care. Conducts risk assessments and accurately documents all necessary medical information from patients.

We are seeking an experienced Psychotherapist that enjoys mental health crisis assessment and intervention work in a high-paced inter-disciplinary setting. Our Psychotherapists work closely with patients their families and other clinicians so we are seeking a candidate that is communicative and team this position the candidate will work primarily with Adult ED and Masonic ED patients.

Psychotherapist Education and Experience Requirements:

Three or more years experience in providing clinical therapy or crisis counseling preferred
Crisis intervention skills such as Motivational Interviewing coping basicCBTand/or DBT and brief-solution focused therapy skills
Masters Degree from an accredited school in Social Work Psychology or closely related discipline
Working towards Minnesota licensure in one of the following:
- Licensed Psychologist (Doctoral or Masters)
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
- Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (Doctoral or Masters)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (Doctoral or Masters)
Working knowledge of electronic health records
Valid Minnesota drivers license access to a car during designated hours proof of auto insurance coverage
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
