The Opportunity

Join our 6-month internship programme as a Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) Intern where youll work at the cutting edge of digital marketing and AI technology. This role focuses on the transition from traditional Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) helping improve how our website content is discovered interpreted and referenced by Large Language Models (LLMs). Youll gain hands-on experience analysing content structure experimenting with optimization techniques and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

During this internship you will be able to analyze and optimize our website so it is more findable structured and authoritative for both classical search engines and AI-based discovery platforms.

Your tasks will include:

• Analyse current website SEO and content structure from a GEO perspective to identify optimization opportunities
• Research and implement best practices for improving how LLMs index and reference web content
• Optimize content structure metadata internal linking and structured data for enhanced AI and search visibility
• Execute small-scale experiments to test the impact of optimization strategies on both traditional search engines and AI platforms
• Monitor performance metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations for future improvements

Who Are We Looking For

• Bachelor/Masters student in Marketing Digital Business Information Systems or similar field with strong academic foundation
• Demonstrated interest in digital marketing SEO principles and emerging AI-driven technologies
• Hands-on mindset with practical affinity for marketing automation tools and website management platforms
• Strong analytical capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience with SEO/analytics tools Adobe platforms or basic understanding of structured data markup would be advantageous
