Weare seekingaManufacturing Quality & Test Engineerto join ourQuality & Testteam in Dublin. This rolewillbe responsible forensuring that we are testing our systems to stringent standards ensuring that we are consistently shipping the highest quality products to our will ensure that we are able to meet the required throughput requirements of this roleyoullneed to think creatively andcome up withsolutions to solve difficult testing problems and push to continuously improve our methods of automation throughput user interfaces and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop andmaintainadvanced LabVIEW applications for production testingsolutions.

• Interface LabVIEW with SQL/ Linux databases for data storage and retrieval.

• Configure and manage Linux-based servers for computer hardware test applications.

• Interface with devices and systems using serial communication protocols.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware test solutions into medium volume production environments.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LabVIEW SQL Linux RS232 and electronics-related issues.

• Advanced Python programming for automation and scripting tasks and Microcontroller programming.

• Work with Design Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support customer returns and failure analysis.

• Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for test processes supporting early-stage products (NPI).

• Analyzetest data document results and provide detailed reports toidentifydefects and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with design engineers to provide feedback and recommendations for product enhancements based on test outcomes.

• Optimizetest strategies for efficiency and effectiveness reducing test time without compromising quality.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives byidentifyingopportunities to enhance testing processes and methodologies.

Key Skills

• Strongproficiencyin SQL database management.

• StrongproficiencyinLabviewprogramming.

• Familiarity with Python programming for automation and scripting.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability toanalyseProduction Test results and perform SPC analysis and familiarity with GR&R studies considered an advantage.

Required Qualificationsand Experience

• Minimum Level 6 Qualification in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering orequivalent experience.

• In-depth knowledge ofhigh speedserial communication protocols and networks.

• Proven experience in LabVIEW development for 5 years.

• Extensive experience with Linux-based systems and administration.

• Experience in microcontroller programming.

• A background in electronics is considered an advantage.

• Experience of Production Test Fixture commissioning.

• Experience of CISCO router and switches considered an advantage.

• Software Revision control using GIT is an advantage.

• Experience using AWS services such as RDS and EC2 would be beneficial

• Familiar with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Test Execution Systems (TES)

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
