A well-established not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Cardiology Physician Assistant to join its collaborative cardiovascular team. This is a team-based patient-centered environment serving a diverse patient population with strong system-wide clinical support and resources.
The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Provide comprehensive cardiology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Evaluate diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
Conduct hospital rounding consultations and follow-up visits
Order and interpret diagnostic studies including EKGs stress tests echocardiograms and cardiac monitoring
Collaborate closely with cardiologists hospitalists and multidisciplinary care teams
Assist with pre- and post-procedure management for cardiac catheterization and other cardiac procedures
Provide patient education focused on prevention lifestyle modification and medication management
Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based cardiovascular initiatives
Licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Washington State or eligible for licensure
Board Certified (NCCPA)
Active/Eligible DEA registration
Cardiology experience preferred; strong new graduates with relevant clinical training may be considered
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
