The Northeast Health District is seeking a PrEP Navigator to float and serve all 10 counties. The position is responsible for the planning and implementation of all prevention services related to PrEP including but not limited to education assessment evaluation enrollment data collection financial assistance and follow-up and will work closely with the medical team for diagnostic testing and prescription refills.
Under the supervision of the HIV Prevention Coordinator the PrEP (Pre-exposure Prophylaxis) Navigator will be responsible for helping clients navigate and access HIV testing PrEP treatment and care and other community resources. This position will primarily focus on communities that may be at high-risk for HIV. This position is part of a program that serves Barrow Clarke Elbert Greene Jackson Madison Morgan Oconee Oglethorpe and Walton counties.
Bachelors degree in education social behavioral or biological sciences or a directly related field from an accredited college or university.
