Job Summary

SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans instruct students evaluate and monitor students performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary Certificate with Art approved area or Art K-12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Secondary Certificate with Art approved area or Art K-12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Arts Education CertificatePreK-12 Certificate
OR
Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with Art approved area
CURRENT Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED UPON HIRE:
Provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

COMMENTS
Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
LOCATION: Utterback Middle School- 36th St. & Campbell Area
FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
