Job Summary

EdClub Inc. is an Education Technology company that provides high-quality online content to individuals and schools around the world. We are in search of a current or former math educator to act as a lower elementary-level math subject matter expert (SME). As an SME you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating curriculum materials creating lesson outlines and ensuring the development of high-quality educational resources that align with industry best practices and common core math standards. This position also requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities include:

Reviewing and providing feedback on existing math curriculum materials
Detailing the essential ideas that should be communicated in each lesson across multiple grade levels (K-2)
Creating lesson materials including vocabulary warm-up direct instruction example problem sets word problems check for understanding and standards alignment
Helping our script writers by providing ways to talk about these topics at the appropriate level
Working closely with our team to create engaging games and online experiences to reinforce math content
Participating in meetings and discussions with the curriculum development team to provide input and insights on age-appropriate math education
Maintaining clear and effective communication with the project manager and other team members
