What this job involves:
As a Critical Environment Logistics Material Handler at JLL you will play a vital role inmaintainingthe seamless operation of mission-critical facilities where precision and reliability are paramount. This position involves managing the complexlogisticsof specialized materials equipment and supplies withinadata centersenvironmentwhere operational continuity cannot be compromised. You will coordinate the receipt storage distribution and tracking of critical components while adhering to strict protocols and safety standards.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments of critical materials equipment and spare parts against purchase orders and specifications
Maintainaccurateinventory records using computerized warehouse management systems and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Coordinate with vendors suppliers and internal teams to schedule deliveries and resolve any discrepancies or quality issues
Prepare and package materials for distribution to various locations within the facility while following proper handling procedures for sensitive equipment
Execute emergency material requests with urgency and precision to minimize any potential downtime to critical operations
Conduct regular audits of storage areas to ensure compliance with environmental controls safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with maintenance teams and technicians toanticipatematerial needs andmaintainoptimalstock levels for critical components
Document all material movements transfers and disposalsin accordance withestablished procedures and regulatory guidelines
Support facility emergency response procedures by ensuring rapid access to critical spare parts and emergency supplies
Required qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience in warehouse operationslogistics or materials management
Proven experience working in critical environments such as data centers healthcare facilities laboratories or manufacturing plants
Proficiencywith warehouse management systems inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of proper handling techniques for sensitive electronic equipment and hazardous materials
Ability tolift upto 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending reaching and standing for extended periods
Excellent attention to detail withdemonstratedaccuracy in record-keeping and inventory management
Strong communicationskills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and external vendors
Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays as operational needs require
Valid drivers license and ability tooperatematerial handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Preferred qualifications:
Associate degree inlogistics supply chain management or related field
Experience with specialized critical environment protocols and regulatory compliance requirements
Certification in material handling equipment operation (forklift scissor lift etc.)
Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols and cleanroom procedures
Previousexperience in mission-critical facility operations or similar high-stakes environments
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and hazardous material handling procedures
Experience withleaninventory management principles and continuous improvement methodologies
