Job Summary
This position supports the Technology in Medical Education group in the College of Medicine. The Jr. Programmer works closely with the Senior Software Developer to create and maintain web-based applications and web sites that are critical to the educational activities of students faculty and professional staff.
Essential Functions
- Routinely communicate with other team members concerning project task status deadlines and constraints
- Build test and maintain websites/applications using appropriate web development standards
- Participate in ongoing team meetings
- Provide technical support to students faculty and professional staff (tickets walk-ins etc.)
- Clearly document all work; maintain code version control
- Other duties as Assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience
- Proficient in HTML5 CSS (Bootstrap and/or Google Materialize) JavaScript/TypeScript JSON Microsoft Technology (Web Forms Framework and/or MVC Core) SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- B. S in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Web Development
- Full stack development Net Core C# Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL knowledgeable in emerging technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence)
Physical Demands
- Typically sitting at a desk/table
- Typically standing walking
- Lifting demands 25lbs

Additional Information
This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as offered pay is based on the successful candidates qualifications and experience departmentbudget and an internal equity review.
