As a Production Assembly Operator on our FHS Landauer team you will be part of a team that processes dosimeter orders and manufacture them to finished badges. Working under general supervisionyouwilloperateequipmentintandemwithapartnerand performavarietyofassembly operations associated with the manufacturing of detection devices. Success as a member of the packaging team is measured through the completion of the following core roles and responsibilities.
Responsibilitiesmayincludebutarenotlimitedto:
- Setupandoperate machines
- Load/unloadmachines(maybeassistedbyautomationorergoaids)
- Movewheeledcartsracksbinscontainingworkinprogresstoadjacentproductionareas
- Eliminateroutineerrorsperformminortroubleshootingwork
- Participateinthecontinuousimprovementprocess
- Inspectproduct quality
- Maintaincleanlinessofsurroundingworkareas
- Workingwithmindfulnessandintegritytoavoidmistakesthatcauseshippingdelays
- Abilitytowork1012-hourshiftsincludingweekendsduringpeakvolume periods
- Maybeneededtositand/orstandandworkwithyourhandsthroughouttheshift
- Ability to lift to 30 pounds stand for up to 3 hours bend and reach
- Flexibility:
- Rotatingstationsorjobsasoftenas needed.
- Willingnesstolearnandrotateinmultipleroleswithinthefacility
- Assignmentofdifferentdutiesbasedonbusiness needs
- Safety:
