About the Company
Our Client is a Singapore-based visual arts organisation dedicated to promoting local art and heritage through exhibitions consultancy research and artist representation.
Responsibilities
Were looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Gallery Operations Associate to support daily gallery operations and exhibition activities. This role requires a proactive individual who is organised reliable and comfortable with both administrative tasks and physical work.
- Assist with artwork handling installation and movement including lifting hanging adjusting lighting and working on ladders when required;
- Maintain accurate inventory records update artwork locations and log new arrivals with proper documentation and photography;
- Coordinate with logistics partners for artwork deliveries and transfers;
- Support basic IT upkeep such as maintaining digital storage systems and backups;
- Manage framing requests and liaise with external vendors tracking costs and timelines;
- Perform general administrative tasks and ensure the gallery space remains clean and well-organised.
- Minimum ITE Diploma or equivalent with relevant operational experience;
- Highly organised meticulous and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision;
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling lifting and climbing ladders;
- Positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility;
- Prior experience in the arts is not required but interest in the visual arts is a plus.
Employment Details
- This is a full-time permanent role;
- 5-day work week according to roster.
