MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF CRITICAL CARE ICU EXPERIENCE (not open to New Grad RNs)

Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional patient focused ICU Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool and make a difference for our patients and our community.

ICU RNs will care for patients in our med/surg/progressive care inpatient units as well as patients needing critical care in one of our 4 ICU units: SICU MICU CCU and Burn ICU.

As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Regions Hospital supports nurses with an individualized orientation including Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support learning role transition and retention of nurses. As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool serving ICU patients you will be responsible for performing patient centered safe effective equitable timely and efficient patient care based on the specific needs of the patient populations served communicating effectively with patients families and the Care Team participating as an effective unit and nursing department member and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other health care team members across the organization.

Work Schedule:0.60 Days All 12 hour shifts; every 3rd weekend rotation.

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Nursing
Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers

Preferred Qualifications:

BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
One year of acute careRN experience isstrongly preferred
ICU RN experience is strongly preferred
