Job Summary
This role acts as a part-time coordinator in the greater Chicago area specializing in coordinating efforts and offering support to Spanish-speaking students and teachers.
Responsibilities
As a part-time coordinator this employee would:
- Work with full-time Chicago Area Coordinator and local priesthood leaders to determine needs and location of Spanish-speaking Institute programs
- Teach at least 1 in-person evening Institute class
- Potentially create an online regional Spanish-speaking Institute class on Zoom
- Provide training for up to 5 Spanish-speaking volunteer seminary teachers to help with administrative and ministering responsibilities
- Recruit additional students to increase reach of Institute programs in Chicago
Qualifications
- Fluently speak English and Spanish
- Have previous knowledge of S&I programs and internal software
- Have previous S&I teaching experience
- Be able to work 12-15 hours per week
Have reliable transportation to travel up to 50 miles for teaching assignment
