Job Summary
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time Surgery Schedulerpositionin the Beaumont area.
Job Description:
Primary roles for a Surgery Scheduler will include the following: scheduling patients for surgery completing facility paperwork. Scheduling patients for diagnostic tests i.e. bone scan MRI CT EMG/NCS ESI. Reviewing patients meds and health history to determine pre-admission testing. Scheduling appropriate medical and cardiac clearances. Scheduling patient for follow-up appointments and tests. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience required
- Must be able to apply written instructions and standardized work practices
- Must document accurately and concisely - required
- Must be able to multi task and handle obstacles with outstanding customer service skills - required
- Must have sound judgment and problem solving skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills - required
- Must have reliable transportation will travel
- Must have a current drivers license and current auto insurance
- Clean background and drug screen
