Job Summary

This is a critical senior role for a Systems Engineer to lead the full lifecycle development of cutting-edge underwater robotic solutions. The position demands a technically strong leader with a systems-thinking approach business acumen and a passion for innovation in autonomous maritime systems.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • System Development Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through the entire system development lifecycle for integrated underwater robotics and maritime technology solutions.
  • Requirements & Architecture: Translate customer operational needs into precise technical requirements define system architecture and manage interface control and integration planning.
  • Execution & Oversight: Oversee design development integration testing validation and deployment activities ensuring solutions meet stringent performance reliability and safety standards.
  • Technical Risk Management: Proactively manage technical risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout project lifecycles conducting thorough design reviews (SRR PDR CDR FAT SAT).
  • Technology & Roadmapping: Drive technology development by identifying emerging trends in underwater robotics evaluating and prototyping new technologies and defining future product directions through technology roadmaps.
  • Proposal Development: Contribute to business growth by developing technical proposals solution architectures and cost justifications.
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships with technology partners research institutions and vendors.
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferably Computer Mechatronics Electrical Robotics or related fields).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience with proven team leadership and expertise in system integration and field deployment.
  • Specialized Advantage: Experience in autonomous systems underwater robotics maritime systems or marine/subsea operational environments is highly beneficial.
  • Leadership & Communication: Possess strong leadership excellent written and verbal communication skills (including technical proposals) and effective stakeholder management abilities.
