Job Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Torfaen to assist with the appointment of a Regeneration Project Officer on a 4.5-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 17.35 - 22.86 per hour
Summary:
The role of Regeneration Project Officer supports the development and delivery of regeneration projects aimed at improving town centres and local communities. The postholder will help identify funding opportunities manage project activities coordinate stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered effectively in line with council objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support regeneration projects for town centres and council land initiatives.
- Identify funding opportunities and manage grant applications claims and reporting.
- Monitor project budgets risks milestones and performance.
- Liaise with internal teams external partners consultants and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports maintain project data and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Support project boards meetings and collaboration across council services.
Qualifications:
- Project Management qualification (or equivalent experience).
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience managing projects or programmes.
- Strong project management organisational and communication skills.
- Experience working with partners stakeholders and external organisations.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage workloads meet deadlines and analyse complex information.
