DescriptionDivision: Operations
Corporate Actions department is responsible for gathering market data and processing mandatory and voluntary corporate actions on various asset types.
We focus on the lifecycle of fixed income securities warrants equities Depositary Receipts and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). We act as a partner for global market players (banks companies governments etc.) in complex financial reorganizations and restructurings. The team operates cross regionally and the exposure to different processes provides great opportunities to explore the corporate world.
The Corporate Actions Information Team aims at:
Collecting information received via email or SWIFT from agents depositaries and trustees
Analysing received information and advising clients via DACE notifications
Negotiating with agents to obtain event set-up which suits best our clients needs
Regular contacts with agents depositories trustees and also Client Service representatives
Role and Responsibilities:
- We expect our Information Team members to build a strong understanding of internal and external flows to work independently solve new situations and transform them into standard processes.
- Follow up on information received from agents and depositaries.
- Gather the information and process it in a timely and accurate manner with a mindset centred on Risk and Client First focus.
- Handle corporate action events with deadlines occurring in a short time frame and ensure a proper follow up with depositaries and agents.
- Follow up on corporate action events and release notifications to clients in a timely manner.
- Handle client inquiries related to information team items (deadlines restructuring agenda proceed entitlement corporate action set up)
Required qualifications:
- Good knowledge of Bank products services and procedures in the area of expertise.
- Ability to control adequately most of the processes escalate when vital and tackle them jointly with the team leader.
- Ability to handle some risky operations.
- Feeling comfortable to cope with the volumes.
- Being a phenomenal teammate
