QUALIFICATIONS
The knowledge skills and abilities for this position are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to:
Bachelors degree in criminal justice Public Administration Social Science or a closely related degree.
Five years work-related experience.
Two years experience in management or a supervisory position.
Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The Community Corrections Facilities & Programs Bureau Chief provides strategic oversight of the Departments community corrections programs including contracted and state-operated assessment and sanction centers prerelease centers and treatment facilities. The Bureau Chief ensures rigorous monitoring of operations across 18 community corrections programs in 13 locations around the state ensuring appropriate management of more than 1700 offenders while securing the strongest possible contractual outcomes for the State of addition this role directs Department staff assigned to the management of some state-owned buildings and the administration of the Departments Rental Voucher Program and Transitional Assistance fundsensuring accountability operational excellence and responsible stewardship of public resources.
Plays a key role in procurement for residential and non-residential community corrections services.
Manages and monitors the Bureaus budget identifies program needs and oversees Rental Voucher and Transitional Assistance
programs to ensure fiscal accountability and operational effectiveness.
Advances the Departments strategic goals through ethical leadership strong communication and policy alignment.
Develops and implements evidence-based programs and operational policies that strengthen community corrections outcomes.
Responds to stakeholder concerns in coordination with legal counsel to ensure accurate and lawful resolutions.
