Systems Engineer II Core Platform Support
This role centers on evaluating evolving organizational requirements building solutions validating functionality and rolling out updates to align IT capabilities with dynamic business priorities. The engineer delivers ongoing assistance for a key enterprise platform while contributing to best practices in development issue diagnosis resolution and overall system optimization to achieve peak dependability ease of upkeep and efficiency.
Key Focus Areas:
- Hands-on expertise with the Microsoft Power Platform suite (including canvas/model-driven apps reporting dashboards workflow automation and external-facing portals)
- Solid working understanding of Microsoft 365 tools and how integrated collaboration technologies drive enterprise-wide productivity
Core Duties:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional groups and external stakeholders to gather and refine needs create validation strategies and implement improvements or bug resolutions that enhance system effectiveness and adoption
- Diagnose and address live environment challenges to maintain smooth accurate operational workflows
- Guide partners in adopting refined procedures that boost day-to-day performance and throughput
- Maintain both non-production (testing/sandbox) and live setups by tracking system stability resource distribution and rapid problem handling
- Oversee and evaluate assigned support tickets or tasks to achieve quick turnaround and avoid accumulation of unresolved items
- Perform code/design evaluations and structured reviews of proposed changes to uphold quality benchmarks and consistency
- Generate custom analytics outputs as needed for investigative work root-cause analysis recovery actions and verification after deployments
Essential Qualifications & Background:
- At least 4 years of hands-on involvement across the full software/application lifecycle from initial needs gathering and building through verification and rollout
- 4 years translating stakeholder needs into functional code constructing applications and designing/running comprehensive test approaches
- 4 years thriving autonomously in a virtual or geographically dispersed setting with routine interaction via calls video meetings and shared digital workspaces
- 4 years of direct engagement with clients/end-users to understand challenges and deliver tailored technical outcomes
- 4 years acting in a senior technical capacity on initiatives offering direction supervision and coaching to peer or junior engineers
