Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol in Tacoma WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Perform armed patrol duties as assigned maintaining a professional presence and following all post orders and use-of-force guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor access points and lobby and/or ATM areas as applicable helping to deter unauthorized entry suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Possess 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
