Job Summary

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team at Alvarado Parkway Institute (API). As a Junior Software Engineer you will play a key role in developing and maintaining software applications that support our behavioral healthcare services.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior software engineers to design develop and test software applications.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Work on bug fixes and performance improvements.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java C or Python.
Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desired Experience:

1-2 years of experience in software development.
Experience with web development frameworks is a plus.
Previous experience working in a healthcare or related industry is advantageous.

Salary & Benefits:
