About the Role
The Welfare Officer will play an important role in supporting the health wellbeing and day-to-day welfare of students across the school.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing first-line welfare support for students during the school day
Supporting pupils with medical emotional or wellbeing needs
Maintaining accurate records relating to student welfare and safeguarding
Liaising with parents staff and external agencies where necessary
Supporting attendance and wellbeing initiatives across the school
Assisting with safeguarding procedures in line with school policies
